The Lakeville South Marching Cougars marched at the Minnesota State Fair for the first time on Tuesday, August 28. The state fair hosts a daily marching band competition and the Cougars earned 2nd place overall and 1st place in music! The band’s goal is always to “Beat South” and the marching band earned it’s highest parade score to date, setting the bar higher for future parades.
After introducing Lakeville South to Minnesota, the 130 band members who performed were able to enjoy the state fair for the duration of the day.
