The Lakeville South Marching Cougars are coming off of a spectacular year! The journey of the season, the musical and marching art created, the lifelong friendships established, the opportunity to serve others with their musical talents, the dedication strengthened, strong work ethic deepened and leadership skills developed are the ultimate outcome of the season, but tangible trophies and titles are fun too! The 2021/22 Marching Arts Seasons earned Lakeville South the Class A Marching Band State Champion, Wind Section Champion, Color Guard Champion, Visual Champion, Winter Guard Champion and Winter Drum Line Champion!
Our kids are doing AMAZING things and we want to take as many Lakeville students along with us on our 2022 marching arts journey as we can. JOIN THE MARCHING COUGARS! Everyone is welcome, no one is cut, we are all on the same team! We have spots for students in band that play percussion and all of the wind instruments (brass and woodwinds); we have spots for piano players not already in band to play keyboard or a keyboard based mallet instrument; we even have spots for students not in band already to be an integral part of our visual package as a member of our award winning guard. The staff we have training our students are the best out there in developing humans and then leading them to create an energetic and beautiful musical product to be presented on the street or football (marching band) field!
