Mark Your Calendars for our 1st Annual “Band On The Run!” 5K and Fun Run!
Help the Lakeville South Band step on the gas as they enter their 2023/2024 season by joining us on Sunday August 27, 2023 for the first annual 5K and Fun Run!
Band On the Run! is a fundraiser with the goal of raising $15,000 to ensure the LSHS Marching Cougars, Color Guard, and Drum Line aren’t running on fumes as they travel to their many performances, parades, and competitions, including the LSHS Marching Band trip to Ireland, the Drum Line trip to Finals, and the Color Guard trip to Nationals in 2024! With your support, we can leave these travel costs in the dust!
Students entering middle school and high school, as well as any and all adults, are invited to register for the 5K.
The Fun Run is specifically for elementary school students entering up through grade 5. Students who register for the Fun Run will run 1 lap on the track with the high school student section lead for the instrument of their choice (Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion, or Color Guard) followed by fun games (including some water games!) that will be led by the Lakeville South Marching Band, Color Guard, and Drum Line students! They will also have the chance to try out playing some drums and spinning some flags!
NOTE: The Fun Run will occur at the same time as the 5K.
