DelanoOn July 4, the LSHS Marching Band performed in Delano for their annual parade. The parade route was filled with spectators that really enjoyed the spirit of South! Many parade goers complimented and thanked the band for celebrating the holiday with them.

This weekend the band will proudly represent Lakeville South in Lakeville on Saturday and Monticello on Sunday. The details are below:

Saturday – Lakeville Pan-O-Prog Parade Information:

Report Time: Arrive at school between 5-5:20, bus DEPARTS promptly at 5:30 PM.

Uniform: Band t-shirt tucked into khaki shorts and tennis shoes. Hair should be off the shoulders in a pony tail or up. No hats. Please remember sunscreen!

Parade starts at 5:30 PM (we are one of the last units in the parade). We anticipate returning to school around 8/8:30 PM.

 

Sunday – Monticello Parade Information:

***We are still in need of 1 banner carrier, so if any siblings are coming to watch the parade we could use 1 of them to carry our banner. Please let us know if you have someone who can do this.

Report Time: Arrive at school between 10-10:20, bus DEPARTS promptly at 10:30 AM.

Uniform: Band t-shirt tucked into khaki shorts and tennis shoes. Hair should be off the shoulders in a pony tail or up. No hats. Please remember sunscreen!

Food: Bring a snack/lunch to eat on the bus. Make sure you eat and hydrate as it will be a hot day.

Parade starts at 12:30 PM. We anticipate returning to school around 3:30 PM.
