It’s Concert Time! May 9 and May 12 at LSHS Auditorium

Mark your calendars for two evening performances from our bands.

Tuesday, May 9 at 7:00pm. The final performance of the year by all our bands, this performance will feature music from the Big Screen. Sit back, relax and enjoy.

Friday, May 12 at 7:30pm. The Big Bang Concert: Lakeville South High School Percussion. A show-style concert complete with percussive musical works, theatrical skits, and an Experimentation Station. The ever popular Big Bang performance is back.

This year’s show “How It’s Made!” will take you on a journey to discover how music is made, from classical orchestra to modern percussion. Be among the first to hear three new, original works written by Lakeville South Percussionists.

Visit the Experimentation Station throughout the evening to play various percussion instruments.

This year’s featured guest artist is Matt Clark, a percussionist who specializes in percussion with electronics and will provide another glimpse into how music is made. Special appearances by The McGuire Middle School percussionists and the LSHS steel drum band  are also planned.
Suggested donation is $5/adult, $2/student. All donations go directly to the band program to fund clinicians and purchase supplies. Online donations are welcome and can be made directly at
