The Lakeville South Band serves the school and greater Lakeville community with many performances throughout the year, providing entertainment to over 100,000 people every year! Below are resources for our student musicians to prepare for these performances.
All 9-12 students in the LSHS Bands make up the Lakeville South Marching and Pep Band. Everyone is asked to memorize these pieces which can be found in the music packets below. Please come to camp week with a strong foundation on the memorization, this will make learning much easier!
Pregame music: America on Parade, Ohio State and Star Spangled Banner
Halftime Music: Centuries, Beethoven’s 5th, Fur Elise, Scherzo, Pathetique Sonata and Ode to Joy
Prepare the music for the part you are assigned on the Assigned Music Parts List. If the part you are assigned is too high for you, please let Mr. Bieniek know. It is very important that we have strong sound from all parts so don’t be disappointed if you are playing a lower part than “usual.” (If there is a ? by your name, please email Mr. Bieniek with the correct information, thank you!)
